So Clark had this awesome opportunity to go fishing in Alaska for a week with his dad. They went to a place called Doc Warners, and they worked as temporary staff... meaning they worked for about 4-6 hours a day and then for pay they were able to do all the fishing they wanted, plus room and board was included. Their days started about 5:30am when they would get up and get all the boats (of the people who actually paid to be there) ready to go. Then by about 7:30 or 8:00am they would head out themselves and fish until 5:00pm when they had to be back to unload everyone's catch for the day and do all the air sealing of the fish. That would go until 8:00 pm then they had dinner, went to bed and woke up and did it all over again. Sounds like fun huh!
Anyhow, clark and his dad had a great time and each came home with about 100 lbs of fish... so if anyone is up for some FRESH seafood, you know where to find it... and if you have any great recipes for using salmon or halibut, please send them our way!
We're just glad to have clark home, the whole trip was 10 days total and I really don't like being a single parent. So thanks for all my friends and siblings who hung out with us... a lot!

Hey, we want some fresh fish! Seriously, can we buy some from you?
Matt has some really good recipes for both that he says he will share. I am glad he had a great time. We need to go to the zoo or do something else soon.
My parents went on that fishing adventure last year, with Doc Warners too, so funny. They loved it! My mom actually caught a red octopus, amazing eh... beautiful pics! Glad he is home safe!
Those are great pics! Looks like the trip was a huge success. Looks like the weather was a little chilly...you guys should come fishing here where it is sunny and warm!
