For me, the 4th of July is synonymous with going to the cabin. I think I've spent almost ALL of the 4th of July's in my entire life up there. Funny how it never really gets old. So here are a few shots from this year's annual cabin experience...
(this post is especially dedicated to the swapp's who we missed this year. We are trying to come up with a way to woo you back to living in Utah... so if these make you feel a pang of sadness, that's the idea!)

Lot's of time spent on the 4 wheelers! This is Aspen's new funny face... where do they learn this stuff?!?

This is my sweet and chubby nephew Cache on his first ever cabin trip. He was loving it!
Lot's more fun cabin times ahead for this kiddo for sure!
Mmmmm... okay, yum-o! These are personal pizza's made on the grill! Really really good. As soon as i get the recipe from my mom's I'm for sure posting it on the blog because this one is worth passing along!
A few of us took a little hike, we went a couple of miles then stopped for a Rice Krispy Treat break. Sounds like the perfect kind of hike, huh, especially for Aspen who got to ride along with uncle Cam the whole way.
And what's a trip to the cabin without a little R&R. here's clark after his 12 mile morning run trying to get some rest with two wiggly little kiddo's. (Aspen is trying to pretend she's asleep).

Looks like so much fun! I love cabins :) especially when you are driving up there late at night with your friend Amy and Katie and you run over a dear head or something and slash your tires, then have to have dad come and bail you out at 10:00 at night...mmmm so fun!
Man - those pictures are awesome enough to make me want to move halfway around the world if I wasn't already close enough.
