So Clark bought his motorcycle about a month and a half ago from this bike shop in logan, and he's been needing to take it back to get bigger pipes so it'll be louder or something like that. so finally, yesterday afternoon, we were both able to go up to logan. Clark rode his bike and i followed behind since he had to leave it there for a week or so. It ended up being a really fun trip since we have lots of good memories in Logan, considering it was almost TEN years ago that we met... our freshman year at USU! So we decided to take some photos...
First we had dinner at Cafe Sabor... an old train station turned Mexican Restaurant. Yummy! Then we drove up to campus, past Bullen Hall where Clark lived, Snow hall, where I lived, past Aggie Ice Cream, which is where really we first met. It was the week before school started, all the freshmen were there for orientation. Clark lived in an all boys dorm and I lived in a co-ed dorm. clark was friends with some of the guys who lived on my floor. One night a bunch of us got together at Snow hall and walked to Aggie Ice cream, the USU creamery. It was walking to Aggie Ice Cream that we first met, we both remember the conversation, we were talking about El Camino's. See my dad has always loved El Camino's, you know the truck-car's. I think one must have driven by and Clark probably said something like, "sweet El-Camino". I probably said something like, "no way, those are the ugliest cars ever, my dad loves them". At that point i'm sure he brought up the fact that he himself owns a 1970 El Camino. He bought it to fix up and restore and so actually to this day it's still up in Idaho not quite in functioning condition. But he does in fact own an El Camino. I told him my dad would love him...
and that's how it all started, here we are almost 10 years later. Okay a lot happened between the walk to aggie ice cream and us getting married 4 years later, but that was the beginning!
