where have you been?

I keep asking myself... no where really, it just feels like I'm off in outer space or something. (will explain later) Anyhow, pardon my bloggin absence I'll just blame it on this: Clark has had the past 3 weeks off of school and we've been doing a lot of hanging out together! So nice for a change. So here are a few things we've been up to the past 3 weeks or so:

1. 2 weekend trips to Idaho for family stuff and wedding
2. visiting with these guys recently returned from China adventure
3. saying goodbye to these guys headed off for China adventure
4. being excited for our good friends, the Blackwoods, who recently adopted a baby girl!
5. renting 3 movies from Blockbuster: Juno (loved it), Dan in Real Live (liked it), 27 dresses (eh)
6. speedily making 3 aprons for 2 birthdays and a bridal shower
7. watching the season finale of Smallville! is Lana really gone for good?
8. watching American Idol faithfully each week... truthfully I don't really have an opinion about who wins at this point.. DA or DC? But it's holding our attention until this thursday... SYTYCD!!!!!!!
9. becoming more and more lost over "Lost", but we're committed to see it through to the end... I need closure!!!
10. going to a bridal shower for this cute girl! and having a good laugh with all my friends from work.
11. throwing a baby shower for becky... so excited she gets a girl after two crazy boys!
12. cleaning my house for afore-mentioned baby shower... I sent Clark to the store to pick up some cleaning supplies (like toilet bowl cleaner, and some 409)... he came back with those items plus***** a new DYSON vacuum**** his excuse, "I just couldn't get excited about vacuuming with our old vacuum". (wow, did we have a LOT of dirt in our carpet, yuck). Thanks hon!
13. Getting all geared up to read, "The Host", by Stephanie Meyer. (clark picked it up for me while he was out picking up 'cleaning supplies')... thanks hon!
14. lots of yard work... looking good! getting ready to head to Idaho to pick up our garden stuff... getting REALLY excited about fresh salsa this summer!
15. bribing Aspen to sit on the potty by giving her m&m's. So far no peeps or poops for us, but daycare reported one poopy on the potty! yeah aspen!
16. FHE swimming at the pool and going for brown toppers at arctic circle on the way home. love the kiddy size cones.
17. "dining-around" in SLC, with our cute neighbor friends at "Settabello's", mmm.. love that place! haven't checked it out yet? I reccommend it.
18. Mother's day date night with Clark, dinner and a movie, what a treat! Z Tejas, and "what happens in vegas" with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz... recommend it for a good laugh.
19. waking up, dropping off, going to work, picking up, coming home, making dinner, cleaning up, bathtimes, storytimes, bedtimes, checking blogs, nighttimes.... REPEAT.
20. Getting so excited about the warmer weather, and pricing out airconditioners !!!!!!!!!! We will be cool this summer, look forward to upcoming blog post "farewell to the swamp cooler". We may have to have a going away party... all invited, save the date... hopefully soon!

So, I guess we haven't been in outerspace afterall, just livin the life!
