HBE Rocks Park City Marathon

So FINALLY, I had my camera (with batteries) to document our latest going-ons! This past Saturday Clark, Chad, Jake, and Shawn of "His Boy Elroy" Rocked mile 25 of the Park City Marathon. This is the third year they've been invited to play and it's been the first show HBE has played in over a year. Call it a reunion show, the marathon has become an annual event. Luckily they were able to get set up in time and start Rockin out before Cameron came flying by! Props to Cam on his fourth marathon of the year, he did it in 3 hours, 30 minutes and placed 6 in his age group, and 20th overall! So the band had been practicing the past couple of weeks in our garage... I think the neighbors weren't quite sure what to think. The first time we had a few little neighbor kids chillin in our front yard thinking they were at a pretty cool concert. The next weekend, we had a neighbor who maybe had a little too much to drink at 10:00 in the morning, dancing in the driveway without a shirt and offering his comments and critiques to the band. Apparently it was pretty funny. In any event, Saturday was a great day, the band played all their hit singles like "The Rock Song", "The Stomp Song", "Diddy", "Florida Girls", you know some real HBE Classics, the ones that always get requested. If anyone is interested, I think there could be a few original CD's still available, you could find them perhaps on e-bay or if you contacted a member of the band, they are pretty rare however. We'll keep the blog posted with any upcoming shows so that the die hard HBE fans can be sure to have the inside track. Aspen really liked the show, except it was a little loud and she had a hard time falling asleep, it was kind of cold too!
