More Kansas City Fun!

This week Clark went on a fly fishing trip to the White River in Arkansas. He wasn't supposed to be home until late Saturday night. So I had planned some fun things to do with the kids today. Lucky for us... Clark came home a day early, so he was able to come along with us. And it's a good thing too, it would have been a little crazy to keep track of thing 1 and thing 2 today!

Since we moved here back in July, I have heard about this fun place called Kaleidoscope. It's sort of a children's art center that is FREE! And it's at the Hallmark Crown Center. It was a lot of fun! Especially for Aspen... she is my arts and crafts girl. If it involves, glue, scissors, glitter, tape, ribbon, paint, or any kind of a mess she is all over it! This entire place was just creativity galore! You can tell from the photos what a fun imaginative place it is.

Bryson got in on the action too!

The BEST part was that I didn't have to clean up after all this! Love it!

After Kaleidoscope, we all had lunch at the Crayola Cafe, a super cute and kid-friendly restaurant. It even had a pretty good "big kids" menu too. All in all the day was a lot of fun!

How fun to be able to explore brand new places that you never even knew existed until you moved away. Looks like the kids thought it was a great outing!
