Seriously, can you think of any better way to spend a weekend? Definatly a much needed family getaway... some good time to actually hang out together. March was a pretty crazy month for our fam, to say the least, with Clark's mega huge side job that pretty much consumed him day and night for well, the whole month, not to mention interviewing five times with Kennecott... and landing the job! Congrats, he was also wrapping up things with his old job and getting pulled together to start a new one. I was feeling like a single parent for a few weeks there and it made me appreciate the fact that I'm actually not one all the time. So again, needless to say, we had a great weekend getaway together. St. George vacations have some pretty standard procedures... swimming/laying-out, mountain biking the green valley loop (aka the three fingers of death), running, rock climbing, and any other recreational activities, of course there's pizza factory, and a new addition: the bearclaw cafe for breakfast...killer french toast. Then of course there's staying up watching movies and playing Rook, also another vacation standard. So it was a lot of fun. It was nice to go with Cam, LaRane, and Collin since we both have kids now, we just adjust things a little to accomodate the little ones, including new recreational activities such as razor scootering, and swinging at the park, and things like take-out! It would have been fun if grandpa and grandma and those crazy swapps could have been there, they were missed for sure, but somehow we still managed to have a good time!

Don't you just LOVE swimming? It is pretty much the funnest thing ever! We should go swimming sometime soon together. If this weather would start cooperating! By the way, mom and dad say congrats to your dad on the new job.
