Attention everyone... we have a SECOND grader in our house! Since we switched from A-track to D-track this year, we ended up with a LONG summer. First grade finished up the first week of June and school didn't start up again until the end of August. I don't know whether it was long enough for Aspen but mom is ready to get back to business and get life back on schedule again! Aspen sure had a fun summer though, with lots of trips to the swimming pool, cowabunga bay, week at the beach in Newport with all the Kasteler cousins, a day at Disneyland California Adventure, and even spent a few days in Idaho at her cousin Tyler's house. It would have been hard to pack much more into this summer!
So this year Aspen is on D-track and her teacher is Mrs. Homer. Her BFF's are of course her cousin, Capri, and neighbor friends: Allora, Aubrey, and Peyton. Aspen is still staying busy with gymnastics two days a week. She is a great reader and is catching on quickly to math. We are excited to see her learn and grow this coming year!
