Goodbye and Good luck!

So Dusty is off to Roseville, Ca. this tuesday. We Went up to Idaho for his farewell this weekend, and he did a great job speaking at church. It's crazy to think how much will change in the short two years he'll be gone. Who knows how many more babies will be added to the family, and how big the ones will be when he gets back. We know he'll be a great missionary and wish him all the best in the next two years!

So, some good news and some bad news... the bad news was that our washer and dryer died, which meant that we had to break down and buy some new ones. After i got over the fact we'll be paying for them the rest of the year, I was so excited for them to finally come. I've been washing everything... towels, sheets, etc... Clark and I just sat and watched the washer for about 10 minutes when we did our first load. So fun. Truthfully, I HATE doing laundry, it has no sense of accomplishment, because as soon as you finish, there's a whole pile waiting for you, so at least now wash can be fun until the novelty wears off... hopefully not before the financing is paid of. LOL

I guess I can look on the bright side becasue the washer and dryer didn't cost nearly as much as the student loans i would have had to take out if Midwestern had wanted me in their CRNA class, but well... they didn't. I finally got a letter from them last week (the same day the washer arrived) and they officially declined me. Initially... disappointed, but truthfully, relieved. The nausea from the thought of being back in school, buying books, and writing papers finally faded away. It's hard when you're faced with big decisions and it feels like any one could be right. It's like taking a test when they say, "pick the best answer". You could argue any answer to be the right one, but there's really only one CORRECT answer. So I guess I'm thankful that that one was answered for me, because i don't know if i would have picked the best answer or not. i'm glad to not have to pack up and put our house up for sale, however the thought does cross my mind when I think of my backyard and the morning glories from h*#!! We're going to have to face the weeds this spring for sure!

And in closing, a cute picture of our little explorer!
