sunny, warm, and 60 degrees!

Ah, how refreshing! We spent this last weekend in sunny st. george. What a nice break from all this cold weather, inversion and smog in SLC. Clark's little brother, Dusty, is getting ready to go on his mission to Roseville, Ca. in a couple of weeks, so as a family we thought it would be fun to take one last getaway together before he leaves. So thanks to Gr. & Gr. Wallin, we were able to use their condo in Green Valley and be able to spend fun time together as a family and enjoy some much needed beautiful weather.

We went down friday morning which just happened to also be Clark's 28th birthday. So convenient for him to be able to take off his birthday and do that which he loves MOST... Rock Climbing. We got to St. George by about 12:30, had some lunch with the locals at "El Taco Loco".... then Clark and Dusty went Rock Climbing for the rest of the afternoon. The rest of Clark's family didn't arrive until later that evening, so Aspen and I had a very restful afternoon, taking naps and watching the rest of season 2 of Gilmore Girls. Ha ha! So great! That night after everyone else arrived, we celebrated Clark's birthday dinner at none other than the Pizza Factory. Some things never get old.

So all in all, it was a wonderful, and much needed getaway! Hopefully it'll hold us over through the next few months of this yucky weather.
