We got invited to spend New Years Eve with the Reese family at their new home in Alpine, UT. Funny that it was just 2 years ago we spent Christmas Day with them in Lee's Summit, MO! It's fun having some Missouri friends living close by! We got to their house around 4:30... just in time to spend about a half hour sledding before it got too dark and before anyone froze into a popcicle! It was soooo cold! Bryson wasn't even phased, he lasted the longest of anyone! Good thing he had his new super cool sled he got for his birthday from Grandpa and Grandma Hymas!
After sledding, we joined in the Reese family tradition of fondue! Starting with authentic Swiss Cheese fondue, meat and broth fondue, and of course finishing up with a chocolate fondue fountain! yumm! We only lasted until the ball dropped in NYC (10pm)... then it was time to get the little kiddos home in bed. Long gone are the days of actually staying up until Midnight to celebrate the new year! LOL!
